Stitcher Radio App is Awesome!

Stream podcasts or radio stations on-demand to your Apple, Blackberry, Android, or Palm device with Stitcher Radio.

After becoming fed up with my “i heart radio” app.  I searched for another radio app.  That is when I discovered the Stitcher Radio App.

I must say it works pretty good on my iPhone 4.  I have used it a lot, thanks MULTITASKING!  Sticher streams well.  I have used it for a little over a week.  It handle weak data coverage areas very well.  (major fail for “i heart radio“) It streamed nearly perfect during my trip from Louisville, KY to Nashville, TN, surviving many AT&T “Dead Zone” spots.

Also, it has a great selection of programs.  It has everything I could think of that I wanted.  Radio, podcast, news updates…

I really like the favorite tab that let you pick your favorites and push play.  It automatically plays what you haven’t listen to and also refreshes the info when a newer version of your feed has been released.

Sticher has a few bugs, but nothing to annoying.  A few times I had a frozen screen and it crashed once or twice in the past week.  Restart of the app always fixes it.

Lastly, They offer a “Premium Service” but I have yet to see a need for this. It seems like 98% of the programs are free.  So far, I haven’t even wanted any of the “Premium” shows.

So check it out.  Also, feel free to comment below.
